How To Play: Leader

How to Play

Leader

Leaders are the most central role and the ultimate champions of each faction. Leaders must set direction and strategy in a dynamic environment and make tough decisions on less-than-perfect information. Though challenging, if they succeed and their faction achieves victory, they will personally benefit more than any other player.

Leaders are the first role allocated to any faction and in some ways, have the simplest objective: ensure their faction wins at all costs. If they succeed, they will benefit more than any other member - which is something to keep in mind. Whilst faction members will generally benefit from working together, if the end outlook looks poor, there are many opportunities for members to stand acting selfishly. A good leader stops this from happening.

We recommend leader individuals are those trying to develop management and leadership capabilities. This could be an existing manager or individuals who could use a confidence boost to step out of their comfort zone and hone their authoritative edge.
